US Dollar Reaches New Height In Inter-Bank Market Of Rs 211

Karachi: The US dollar reaches all time high after surpassing Rs 211 in the inter-bank market on Monday.

The dollar climbed to Rs 211.20 after an increase of Rs 2.46 on the first day of the business week.

The expert said that the value of Pakistani rupee is circling around the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program.

The IMF demanding levy on petrol and imposing sales tax on it as well despite ending subsidy on the petroleum products besides taking tough measures by the Pakistani government.

According to experts, the process of joining the IMF program is taking longer and with the increase of the financial crisis at the dangerous level which leading to uncertain situation in which the US dollar high flight is on.
