KARACHI: Authorities have rolled out a detailed traffic management plan ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 playoff match between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United, scheduled for Tuesday at National Stadium Karachi.
Key Traffic Flow Updates
The Karachi Traffic Police confirmed that Sir Shah Suleman Road will stay open for traffic in both directions to ease movement across the city.
Parking Guidelines for Fans
From Karsaz:
Spectators traveling via Karsaz should take Habib Ibrahim Rahimtoola Road and use the service lane near the stadium flyover to reach designated parking spots at the National Coaching Centre (NCC) and China Ground.
From Millennium Mall:
Those coming from Millennium Mall are advised to use Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi Road. From there, they can access the stadium’s side road leading to NCC and China Ground parking areas.
From New Town:
Fans arriving from the New Town locality should also follow Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi Road and take the stadium flyover’s service road to the same designated parking zones.
Restrictions on Heavy Traffic
To ensure smooth flow, heavy vehicles will not be allowed on several major routes, including:
From Sohrab Goth to NIPA
From Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square
From PPP Chowrangi (Jail Chowrangi) to University Road
From Karsaz toward the stadium
From Millennium Mall to New Town, as well as the stretch from Stadium Signal to Hassan Square
Public Advisory
Traffic officials have urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and strictly follow parking instructions. Vehicles parked on main or service roads will not be permitted.
