Country Wide Toll Owing To Floods Reaches 13,55 As 12 More Dies

Islamabad: The number of deaths owing to the devastating floods across the country has reached 1,355 as more 12 people lost their lives.

As per the National Disaster Mangement Authority (NDMA) report issued today, six persons died in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 2 and Baluchistan 3.

The total deaths of 1,355, out of which 263 belonged to Baluchistan, 191 people in Punjab, 22 in Gilgit and Baltistan and 44 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

On the other hand, as many as 12, 722 persons sustained injuries country wide due to the raging floods.

At least 80 districts of the country are still affectd by the floods, 33. 46329 are affected by the rains and floods, while 6579 roads were flowed in the floods.

Moreover, 7, 53,183 livestock were harmed as well.
