LAHORE: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said the use of modern technology has significantly improved and simplified the immigration process at airports.
During a surprise inspection of Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, the minister reviewed immigration arrangements and inspected various counters to assess passenger facilitation.
Naqvi directed immigration officials to ensure that all counters remain operational to reduce waiting times and make the process faster and more convenient for travellers.
He also stressed that strict measures would continue against individuals attempting to travel using fake or fraudulent documents, reiterating the government’s commitment to strengthening border controls while facilitating genuine passengers.
