SL HC Expresses Satisfaction On Steps Taken By Govt After Brutal Killing Of Their Citizen


Islamabad: The Sri Lankan High Commissioner (HC) Mohan Wijewickrama has expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by the government after brutal killing of Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara in Sialkot.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain held a meeting with Sri Lankan High Commissioner Mohan Wijewickrama in Islamabad on Tuesday and expressed grief and sorrow over the killing of Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara in Sialkot.

The Minister apprised the High Commissioner about the steps taken by the Pakistan government after the Sialkot tragic incident.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the Sialkot incident has been condemned across the country and all the people involved in the incident have been arrested.

On the occasion, the Sri Lankan High Commissioner said they are satisfied with the steps taken by the Pakistan government after the incident. He said the bilateral relations will not be affected by the incident.
