KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed the health department and district administrations to take effective action to eliminate polio from the province.
Chairing a high-level meeting on polio eradication in Karachi on Friday, he expressed concern that polio cases continue to emerge despite significant efforts.
He issued a stern warning that any negligence in the polio eradication drive will not be tolerated.
Murad Ali Shah emphasized that refusal to administer polio vaccines is completely unacceptable under any circumstances.
