LAHORE: A coach of the Shalimar Express traveling from Lahore to Karachi experienced a derailment between Bahawalpur and Sama Satta on Monday. Railway authorities confirmed that the 28 Down Shalimar Express coach came off the tracks during its journey.
The affected coach was subsequently detached from the main train, and officials assured the public that no injuries or property damage occurred as a result of the incident. Following safety checks, the railway authorities declared the train fit to proceed and allowed it to continue towards its destination.
