Islamabad: Former Premier Shahid Khaqan Abbassi has said that there is no provision in law to extend the term of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Talking to media outside an accountability court for hearing of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart Shahid Khaqan Abbassi announced that we will go to the supreme court in case of extenion of Chairman NAB justice retd Javed Iqbal.
He said that every thing is based on malafide intentions adding that he has been appearing before the court for three years but he didn’t know what is the case.
The PML-N senior leader claimed that the NAB has paralyzed the country and now it is harming the relations with other countries. He asked that would the NAB take notice of expensive LNG deal brokered by the present government.
He alleged that on the name of accountability politicians loyalty is being changed.
