Islamabad: Chairman Senate Standing Committee for finance has ordered Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) to withdraw circular regarding the new valuation.
Senate Standing Committee for Finance meeting was held in the Chair of Senator Talha Mahmood wherein the matter of the new valuation came under discussion.
The government members also raised objections on the new valuation of the property.
The committee directed the FBR to withdraw the new valuation circular and reissue it after holding consultation with all the stake holders within 15 days.
The committee also approved condemnation resolution against lynching of a Sri Lankan citizen in Sialkot. The resolution emphasized the clerics of all the sect to to play their role controlling the extremism.
Senator belonging to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) declared the incident as a horrific murder.
