SC Rejects SHC Verdict Regarding Missing Person Faisal Case, Orders Rehearing

Karachi: Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday declared Sindh High Court (SHC) verdict regarding missing student for 10 years null and void and ordered the court to hear the case once again.

The SC at Karachi registry heard missing student Faisal for 10 years case headed by justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar. During the hearing the mother of Faisal started weeping saying that his son has been missing for 10 years and there is clue found yet.

The petitioner, consul of Faisal said that the SHC in its verdict said that this is not a case of forced disappearence adding that the SHC order is against the facts.

Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar remarked that a matter of missing persons can not be taken lightly or if we will take it easy then no case can not be heard in the high court.

Honourble Judge Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar ordered the SHC to hear the case once again.

It is pertinent mention here that Faisal had gone missing from Saddar area back in January 2012. Faisal Arayen was inter second year student in Shipowners College.
