Rotary international’s delegation meets governor Punjab

LAHORE: Punjab governor Salem Haider called on Rotary international’s delegation to discussed ongoing initiatives in health, education, environment and clean water across the province. 

Rotary International’s delegation comprised Dr Shaheena Asif Chy, Central Zone Coordinator of Rotary International and Rotarian Krish Fernando, member of the Rotary Club of Colombo. Punjab Governor lauded the efforts of Rotary International and Rotary Clubs for their public services in Pakistan. “The contributions of Rotary in the fields of education, potable water, the environment, and health are highly appreciated,” Saleem Haider stated. 

He urged Rotary to expand their water and education programs to remote areas of the province.Pubo do de Zoisá briefed Punjab Governor that Rotary clubs was serving in more than 200 countries and have 1.2 million members committed to improving poor communities.
