Karachi: Amidst the hype regarding the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final, the finalists were kicked out of the five-star hotel in which they were originally staying. This incident occurred due to the negligence of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The officials as well as the players from both the teams, i.e. the Pakhtunkhwa and Northern, were kicked out by the hotel management, and were out in the streets. As per Geo Super, the PCB had booked the hotel located on club road till December 22. However, further booking for the two finalists wasn’t done in advance.
Th report further stated that the board had informed the hotel management that due to the arrival of a large group, the booking confirmation for December 22 would take place only after the previous booking is cancelled. Post that, there wasn’t any contact between the PCB or the hotel management.
Due to this, the relevant department of the PCB perceived that the bookings of the two teams were confirmed. Thus, due to the lack of communication, the players from both teams were out in the streets
