Lahore: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on Information Hassan Khawar has said that the provincial government is going to take practical measures for promotion of tourism in the province adding that work is also on for protecting old tourism destination along with discovering new places.
Talking to media in Lahore, spokesman for Punjab government Hassan Khawar said that Incomputable destination exists in Pakistan and practical measures are being taken for the promotion of these places adding that search of new destinations for promotion of tourism and construction and repair work is continued.
The spokesman said that inflation on the rise in the country and the government is working to reduce it but tourism can’t be neglected. He said that the government of Punjab is also taking measures for promotion of agriculture, mystic , food tourism along with the historic tourism and this will not only improve economy of the country but it also create employment opportunities.
He said that concrete measures are also being taken to uplift living standard of people. He said government is paying attention to promote sports activities among youth.
