Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secretary general Asad Umar has said that the party will challenge the verdict of the Election Commission of Pakistan in the prohibited funding case in Islamabad High Court (IHC)
Addressing a presser along with former minister of state Farukh Habib in Islamabad to apprise people the reaction of the party on the today’s judgement of the ECP.
Asad Umar said that they wanted to end the politics of the party by blocking the foreign funding of the party and it was observed in the last four months that efforts were made to snatch our mandate but our chairman Imran Khan took stand.
The PTI secretary general said that even the ECP could not dare to impose ban on the party.

Asad Umar said that jugglery is being staged after making Imran Khan’s one certificate as an affidavit while he clarified that Imran Khan submitted certificate for the party funding not for his assets.
He said that all the details have been provided to the ECP and there is no question of the foreign funding.
He demanded to the ECP to share foreign details of PPP and PML-N including PTI.
The PTI leader said that the country’s economy is standing on the money sent from abroad adding that without money politics can not happen.
There is a need of money for political gatherings, congerations, rallies, conventions, hoisting banners and flags, Asad Umar added.
Farukh Habib said that the PTI funding case verdict announced but scrutiny committee of the ECP could not submit PML-N and PPP funding report until today.
