LAHORE: In an exciting encounter in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore Qalandars narrowly defeated Quetta Gladiators by 9 runs, securing important points in the tournament.

The match took place at Gaddafi Stadium, where Lahore Qalandars won the toss and chose to bat first.

Lahore set a formidable target by scoring 197 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman delivered an outstanding performance, smashing 103 runs off just 51 balls. Charth Aslanka contributed 31, while Daniel Sams added 18 runs. Khalil Ahmed was the most successful bowler for Quetta, claiming 2 wickets.

In response, Quetta Gladiators aimed to chase down the target but fell short, finishing at 188 runs for 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Ahsan Ali played a vital role with a quickfire 53, and Rilee Roussouw contributed a dynamic 62.
