LAHORE: In the first eliminator of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, Multan Sultan set a target of 160 runs for Hyderabad Kings to win.
The match, held at Quaid-e-Azam Stadium, saw Hyderabad Kings win the toss and elect to bowl first. Multan Sultan, led by Shan Masood’s spectacular batting, scored 159 runs for 9 wickets in the 20 overs.
Shan Masood played an unbeaten 69 off 46 balls, while Sahibzada Faran scored 15, Steve Smith 13, and Muhammad Nawaz 18 runs.
For Hyderabad Kings, Muhammad Ali, Haneen Shah, and Aaqib Javed took 2 wickets each.
It is noted that the losing team today will be eliminated from the tournament, while the winning team will face Islamabad United in Eliminator 2 on Friday.
Peshawar Zalmi secured their place in the final yesterday by defeating Islamabad United in the qualifier.
