Political Parties Can’t Flee From LB Elections Anymore After Today’s SC Verdict: Hafiz Naeem

Islamabad: Commenting on the Supreme Court today’s verdict regarding local bodies election, ameer Jamat-e- Islami (JI) Karachi chapter, Hafiz Nameem Ur Rehman has said that after the judgment of SC political parties can’t run away from the local bodies elections.

Talking to media outside the SC, Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that Karachi has a status of back bone of the country but the city has become ruins.

The JI ameer said that we wanted a local bodies election but ruling political party of Sindh, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP )does’nt want it but after today’s SC verdict the political parties can’t fllee.

Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) now in a coalition of PPP and PMLN despite that the elections is very neccesary.

He expressed thanks to Chief Justice of Pakistan, Umar Atta Bandiyal after today’s verdict while he congratulated the people of Karachi and Hyderabad.

The motivated leader of JI Karachi chapter, Hafeez Naeem said that the people of Karachi will support Jamat-e-Islami,whose leader will make the metropolis a beautiful city.

It is pertinent to mention here that the SC this morning ruled that a local body elections of second phase in Sindh will be held on August 28.
The SC remarked that the MQM-P should approach appropriate forum, only after on determination of facts the legal points can be raised before the courts.
