Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly will reach Karachi on a three-day visit today (Friday).
Shahbaz Sharif will leave Lahore on a private airlines flight and reach Karachi 5:00pm. He will be accompanied by PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb and other top leadership of his party.
According to party sources, PML-N Sindh chapter leadership and Karachi organizations have completed preparations to receive Shahbaz Sharif.
During his visit, Shahbaz Sharif will attend a key meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on August 28. Shahbaz Sharif will also address the PDM public meeting in Karachi on August 29.
PML-N sources said that Shahbaz Sharif will also try to solve the ongoing differences between party leaders during his visit to Karachi. Former provincial PML-N secretary general Miftah Ismail will remain with Shahbaz Sharif during the visit.
Party sources further said that Shahbaz Sharif will also take important and final decisions regarding the upcoming local body elections of the Cantonment Board.
