PML-N Demands SC To Take Notice Of PTI’s Embezzlement In Foreign Funding

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday demanded Supreme Court of Pakistan to take notice of embezzlement of Rs 310 Million in the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf foreign funding case.

In a press conference by the PML-N leaders which included Shahid Khaqan Abbassi, Maryam Aurangzaib, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Bilal Kiyani, they said that PTI used all the tactics they could to prolong the case but failed to provide the record of the 300 million in that time.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the proof of Akbar S Babar’s allegations is available in the scrutiny committee’s report adding that PTI has only denied the accusations but have not submitted any proof of its stance.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif said that scrutiny committee’s report is a damning indictment of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
