ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly denounced the recent Houthi attacks targeting civilian and energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, which reportedly injured several people.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, the prime minister expressed Pakistan’s firm solidarity with Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people, including Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Shehbaz Sharif said attacks against civilian targets were deeply condemnable and posed a serious threat to regional peace and security.
He reiterated that Pakistan fully supports the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, stressing Islamabad’s commitment to standing by Saudi Arabia in the face of threats to its security.
The prime minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attacks.
