Peshawar Zalmi Defeat Multan Sultans by 7 Wickets

MULTAN: In the 25th match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Multan Sultans by 7 wickets.

The match was played in Multan, where Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bat first. However, their batting lineup collapsed and the entire team was bowled out for just 108 runs in 19.1 overs.

For Multan Sultans, Shai Hope scored 23 runs and Tayyab Tahir added 22, standing out among the rest.

From Peshawar Zalmi’s bowling attack, Ahmed Daniyal claimed 3 wickets, while Maaz Sadaqat and Luke Wood took 2 wickets each.

Peshawar Zalmi chased down the target of 109 runs comfortably in just 13 overs.

For Zalmi, Saim Ayub played a crucial knock of 49 runs, while Max Bryant contributed 38 runs.

From the Multan bowling side, Shahid Aziz picked up 2 wickets and David Willey took one.

As for the PSL 10 points table:

Quetta Gladiators top the standings with 11 points from 8 matches.

Islamabad United are in second place, also having played 8 matches, with 10 points.

Karachi Kings are in third place with 10 points from 5 wins in 8 matches.

Lahore Qalandars are in fourth place with 9 points from 9 matches.

Peshawar Zalmi hold the fifth position with 8 points.

Multan Sultans, now eliminated from the race for the trophy, are at the bottom of the table.
