RAWALPINDI: Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, spokesperson for the Pakistan Army, emphasized that the military and the people of Pakistan will act as an unyielding barrier against any hostile aggression.
The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) held a special session with students and educators from various universities and madrassas in Mardan. Attendees included representatives from Abdul Wali Khan University, Women’s University, University of Engineering and Technology, and local madrassas.
During the session, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif highlighted Pakistan’s proactive measures against terrorism and extremist elements, reaffirming the resolve of both the army and the nation to defend against external threats. He also addressed issues such as the volatile security situation, tensions with Afghanistan, and ongoing efforts to counter terrorism and foreign interference.
Participants expressed deep appreciation for the contributions of martyrs and Ghazis, recognizing the pivotal role of the Pakistan Army in maintaining peace and driving national development. Students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa pledged their support for the military’s endeavors toward ensuring stability and security.
The students were informed about how anti-national propaganda is disseminated through social media platforms. They acknowledged the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s forces to protect the country and emphasized their commitment to standing united in support of the armed forces.
