Pakistan Set Ordinary Target Of 148 Runs To India In High Octane Match Of Asia Cup

Dubai: Pakistan have given an ordinary target of 148 runs after losing all the wickets to India in their first match of Asia Cup

India had won the toss and elected to field first against Pakistan in their first match of Asia Cup while it is the second match of the tournament.

Pakistan batters were struggling to smoke runs as the Indian bowlers are testing the patience of the Green Shirts during the second match of Asia Cup 2022 at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan have lost Babar (10 off 9), Fakhar (10 off 6), while Iftikhar (28 off 22) was the latest to depart on a bouncer delivered by Hardik Pandya For India, Pandya bagged three, Bhuvneshwar took two, while Avesh and Arshdeep claimed one wicket each.

Arshdeep also grabbed his maiden wicket against Pakistan by getting rid of all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz (1 off 3).

Bhonishwar Kumar took four wickets while Hardek Pandya got three wickets.

This is the most high-octane clash of the Twenty20 Asia Cup 2022 when arch-rivals — Pakistan and India faced each other today.

Both teams are well prepared for a major cricket event in Asia.

The green shirts will have batting powerhouses like captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali and Hyder Ali. Both Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz will showcase their spinning skills along with their batting prowess.

Pakistan cricket team is going to start their campaign after their triumph in Netherlands in ODI, while India also coming to this tournament with great confidence with dominance against West Indies and Zimbabwe.

Though, Pakistan have faced two big blows as the main pacers – Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim Jr – have already been out of the Asia Cup with injuries.
