WEB DESK: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has credited Pakistan and Qatar for helping achieve significant diplomatic progress aimed at ending the conflict in Lebanon.
In a statement shared on X, Araghchi praised the mediation efforts of both countries, describing them as instrumental in advancing negotiations and reducing regional tensions.
He said the diplomatic breakthrough had resulted in several positive developments for Iran, including the easing of restrictions on oil and petrochemical exports, the lifting of certain blockade measures, the release of a portion of Iran’s frozen assets, and the launch of a major reconstruction and development initiative.
Araghchi termed the progress a result of sustained diplomatic engagement and expressed optimism about further steps toward regional stability and economic recovery.
