BANGKOK: The Embassy of Pakistan in Bangkok has introduced a new fee structure for electronic passports, effective October 23, 2026, as the mission shifts from machine-readable passports to e-passports.
Charges vary according to processing speed, passport size and validity. A regular 36-page passport valid for five years costs 1,500 baht, while urgent processing costs 2,400 baht. For a 10-year passport with the same number of pages, the fees are 2,200 baht for regular service and 3,500 baht for urgent service.
A 72-page e-passport valid for five years costs 2,600 baht under regular processing and 4,100 baht under urgent processing. The 10-year version is priced at 3,800 baht for regular service and 6,000 baht for urgent service.
The embassy has also set replacement charges for lost passports. Fees for replacing a first lost passport range from 3,000 to 12,000 baht, depending on the passport category and processing option. Replacing a second lost passport costs between 6,000 and 24,000 baht.
The cost of replacing a third or fourth lost passport will be determined under the applicable rules and requires approval from the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports headquarters in Islamabad.
