Pak In Trouble As It Lost 2 Wickets With No Score In Response To NZ 319 Runs In 2nd Test At End Of 4th Day

Karachi: Pakistan seriously in trouble as it lost two wickets in response tough target of 319 runs set by New Zealand tough in second innings at the end of the fourth day in second test.

Earlier, New Zealand have declared its second innings on a score of 277 runs which gave the host Pakistan a tough target of 319 runs at the end of the 4th day.

Pakistan have to achieve the challenging target of 319 runs in 94 overs to win the second test match. But Pakistan opening partnership failed as the host lost two wickets without scoring any single run.

On the other hand from the Kivi’s side Tom Blandal , Mike Bracewell both scored 74 runs each but later one remained not out.

From behalf of the host Mir Hamza, Hassan Ali, Abrar Ahmed, Salman Agha got one wicket each.

Before this, at the start of the day Pakistan were dismissed for 408 after adding just one run to their overnight score, in response to New Zealand’s 449 first-innings total.

Spinner Ish Sodhi had last man Abrar Ahmed trapped leg-before for nought, leaving centurion Saud Shakeel stranded on the other end.
