At the United Nations, over 90 countries including Pakistan have voiced deep concern regarding Israel’s punitive measures against the Palestinians.
The countries in a statement, called for a reversal of the Israeli measures and said we reject punitive measures in response to a request for an advisory opinion by the International Court of Justice.
Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for the UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres expressed deep concern over the Israeli measures stressing that there should be no retaliation in connection with UN resolution.
Palestinian ambassador to the UN Riyad Mansour lauded the move saying the countries are united in rejecting Israeli punitive measures.
A UN Security Council meeting on the Palestinian issue will be held tomorrow.
