Nine Killed As Cyclone ‘Shaheen’ Lashes Oman, Iran

At least nine people have been killed in Oman and Iran as Tropical Cyclone Shaheen pummelled parts of their coastlines.

According to Oman meteorology service, two workers were killed in a landslide that hit their housing area in an industrial zone as a result of the cyclone.

A child died and another person was reported missing in flash floods in Oman.

Thousands have been evacuated from coastal areas in country.

In Iran, authorities said six people have been killed in a port in Sistan-Baluchestan province.
