Islamabad: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved a raise of Rs 5.27 per unit for K-electric customers under the fuel adjustment charges for the month of April.
The NEPRA has issued a notification of uptick in the per unit price of electricity for K-electric consumers.
The sole distributor of Karachi for electricity, K-electric had asked the NEPRA to raise the price by Rs 5.31 paisa under the fuel adjustment charges of April.
As per the notification, per unit price of electricity for K-electric consumers were also raised under the fuel adjustment charges in the month of March By Rs 4. 83 .
The uptick in price per unit will be applicable to K-electric all the customers except life-line customers.
