ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has initiated the rollout of a digital payment system across all airports in the country, following the directives of the Government of Pakistan and the initiative of the State Bank of Pakistan.
All commercial outlets and service providers at airports have been instructed to adopt the digital payment system.
This move aims to enhance convenience for travelers, promote transparent transactions, and foster a modern financial infrastructure.
According to a spokesperson, passengers will still be able to make cash payments alongside digital methods, but they are encouraged to use digital payment options for their transactions.
