NAB Starts Probe Against Ex-Chairman WAPDA On Corruption Complaints

Lahore: National Accountability Beraue (NAB) has started a probe against former Chairman Water And Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Lt Gen (retd) Muzamil Hussain.

The sources of graft-buster body said that the WAPDA incurred as many as billions of rupees loss over laziness and corruptionn in the last three years.

According to the anti-corruption body a corruption of whopping 753 million dollar has been identified in Tabrbella 4 project.

The NAB initiated the investigation over by force wrongly payments to contractors while the former chairman WAPDA will be called in a personal capacity later after verifications of the complaints.

As per the NAB spokesman, the NAB Lahore has received complaints against ex-chairman WAPDA
