Karachi: Chairman National Accountability Bureau justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has once again clarified that the anti-corruption body is not linked with any party, group or individual but with state of Pakistan.
The Chairman NAB said that the graft-buster body’s prime duty is to eradicate corruption and that’s why the strategy adopted to eradicate corruption have remained fruitful and the transparency international, World Economic Forum and PILDAT have admitted it.
Owing to the honourable NAB courts have sentenced 1194 accused so far, he added. Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said that the NAB’s prime concentration is on money laundering, incidents of fraud and deceiving with the masses, assets beyond income, and embezzlement carried out in the government funds.
The Chairman NAB said that the NAB considered as a role model in the SAARC countries and that’s why the NAB determined to eradicate all types of corruption.
