Hyderabad: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement- Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have blasted over rigging and violence at large scale in first phase of Local Bodies Elections (LBEs) in 14 districts of Sindh saying it is better to hold selection instead of such type of elections.
The MQM-P leader Wasim Akhtar lambasting over rigging demanded stopping, polling in Sukkher, Mir Pur Khas, Nawabshah,
Wasim Akhtar questioning the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) do elections happen in this way?. He urged the ECP to see its performance during the elections.
Former mayor Karachi expressing anger said that it seems that robbers have come adding that rigging at full length was continued in 14 districts of Sindh.
The MQM-P leader also criticized its allied party PPP for not implementing an agreement with them.
On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as well pointed fingers at local bodies elections in the 14 districts of Sindh.
The PTI leaders said that it will be better to hold selection instead of such type of rigged elections.
