Matter Of Appointing Caretaker CM Punjab Has Gone To Parliamentary Committee

Lahore: The matter of an appointing caretaker chief minister has gone to the parliamentary committee as the Governor Punjab has written letter to Speaker Punjab Assembly.

The parliamentary committee will be formed comprising three members each from government and opposition benches.

Whereas Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has sent name to the speaker PA Sibtain Khan. The three names included Mian Aslam, Raja Basharat and Usman Buzdar.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) coalition has finalized names of Khalil Tahir Sindhu, Malik Ahmed and Hassan Murtaza while consultation is going on for third member.

If the matter was not settled in the parliamentary committee the matter will be sent to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)
