Live Of Poors Are Getting Difficult Owing To Rising Charges Of Petroleum, Gas, Electricity: Umar Ayub

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and ex-federal minister for energy Umar Ayub has said that prices of petroleum products will turn Rs 320 per liter.

Addressing a presser, Umar Ayub Khan said that the load shedding crisis is getting the worst whereas Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had announced to end load shedding within two days but now the PM and the Energy Minister are saying load shedding will continue in July as well.

He said that Pakistan was going to buy oil from Russia and PTI government had end load shedding on 80 percent feeders.

Umar Ayub said that uninterrupted electricity of 99 percent provided during Sahar and Aftar adding that the country has a shortage of seven to eight thousand MW and till August the per unit of electricity will turn Rs 45 per unit.

He said that Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended increase of 400 percent in the prices of Gas.

He said that the lives of the poors have become difficult owing to rising charges of petroleum products, electricity prices and gas prices.
