Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday announced verdict of Hamza Shahbaz oath taking case.
The LHC has ordered President Dr Arif Alvi to nominate a person to take oath of office from newly elected Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz.
The LHC disposed of the Hamza Sharif petition while the court remarked that Governor Punjab can’t refuse taking oath of office from the CM Punjab.
The court ordered the President to nominate a person within 24 hours to take oath from a newly elected Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz.
It was also ordered by the court that a copy of the verdict should be sent to President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alivi.
