Peshawar: The opposition parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has decided to with draw a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan.
Parliamentary leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) Hussain Babak has said that the aim of the no-confidence motion was to safe assembly from to be dissolved.
He said that the provincial government has ensured it will not dissolve the assemblies.
He said that to with draw a no-confidence motion they have contacted to the assembly secretariat adding that the no-confidence motion will not be the part of the assembly agenda.
It merit mention that the KP assembly opposition has submitted a no-confidence motion against the chief minister on April 8.
The KP assembly has 145 members while 94 of the government and 48 belongs to the opposition. Two independent MPA, a PML-Q MPA is part of the government.
