KARACHI: The Karachi administration has increased official flour prices across the city, issuing a new notification that revises wholesale and retail rates for various categories of flour.
According to the notification, the prices have been raised compared to those announced on May 12. The wholesale price of regular flour has increased from Rs110 to Rs122 per kilogram, while the retail price has been revised upward from Rs113 to Rs125 per kilogram.
The wholesale price of fine flour has been increased from Rs118 to Rs132 per kilogram, whereas its retail price has risen from Rs121 to Rs135 per kilogram.
However, the retail price of chakki flour has remained unchanged at Rs145 per kilogram.
Karachi Commissioner directed all shopkeepers to prominently display the official price list at their outlets, warning that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the government-approved rates.
