Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif has said that if petrol crisis emerge than the government will be responsible for it.
Expressing his concerns on likely increase of petroleum products, opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shahbaz Sharif said reports of an increase of Rs 6 per liter in the prices of petroleum products are worrisome.
He said that hoarding of petrol is feared and the government should take measures on the reports spreading in the market adding that hoarding must be avoided.
Former chief minister Punjab said that the protection of common customers are legal and administrative responsibility of the government adding that “I am warning the government in advance” and if petrol crisis create then the government will be responsible for it.
He said that the increase in petrol prices will add up inflation woes adding that a new accident or tragedy tells that there is no anything exist like the government in the country.
Shahbaz Sharif said that sometime wheat and some time flour , sometime sugar, sometime urea and petrol crisis reveal on the nation.
