ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a fresh round of transfers and postings of government officers through a notification issued on Monday.
According to the notification, Amara Athar (BS-19), currently serving in the Punjab Police, has been assigned as Police Reform Officer with the United Nations Mission in North Sudan until further orders.
The government has also approved one-year overseas study leave for Ayesha Liaquat, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Climate Change, effective August 3, 2026. The notification states that an extension of her leave will be considered subject to satisfactory academic performance.
In another administrative change, Saifullah, Deputy Director at the Evacuee Property Trust Board (Lahore), has been relieved from his current assignment and repatriated to his parent organisation, the Directorate of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, Sana Aslam, a lecturer in the Higher Education Department, has been transferred to the Federal Ministry of Education in Islamabad. The Establishment Division had already issued the relevant transfer notification.
