KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday in line with a downturn in the international bullion market.
According to the latest rates released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs2,500 per tola, bringing it down to Rs434,936.
The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also registered a decline of Rs2,143, settling at Rs372,887.
Globally, bullion prices weakened by $25, with gold closing at $4,125 per ounce.
Silver prices also followed the downward trend, as the rate per tola dropped by Rs120 to Rs6,559.
