LAHORE: The Punjab government has introduced the ‘She Threads’ initiative, aligning with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, backed by a funding of Rs. 310 million.

This program aims to empower women in rural areas by enhancing their skills and creating employment opportunities within the textile sector. Participants will undergo specialized training in various textile industry disciplines, with a focus on modern techniques.

Women aged 18 to 45 who have completed at least middle school education are eligible to enroll. Successful trainees will be awarded a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000, along with transportation allowances during the training period.
