Four More Succumbs To Coronavirus

Islamabad: : Pakistan has reported 4 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,292,728. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 28,898 on Friday.

According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 322 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

As many as 480,077 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 444,438 in Punjab, 181,121 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 108,392 in Islamabad, 34,654 in Azad Kashmir, 33,617 in Balochistan and 10,429 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Pakistan has so far conducted 23,048,609 coronavirus tests and 47,811 in the last 24 hours. 1,254,301 patients have recovered in the country whereas 652 patients are in critical condition.

The COVID-19 positivity ratio was recorded at 0.67 percent.

So far, 90,529,877 people have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine including 737,763 in last 24 hours. 63,382,390 citizens have been fully vaccinated while 834,837 received their second dose in last 24 hours.

The number of total administered doses has reached to 145,453,360 with 1,385,125 in the last 24 hours.
