Four killed in separate Karachi accidents, including two sisters, child

KARACHI: Karachi witnessed a series of tragic road accidents on Monday night that claimed four lives in three separate incidents, including two sisters and a young child.

In the first incident near Nazimabad No. 1, two sisters were fatally crushed by a heavy oil tanker after the motorcycle they were riding slipped. Police said the women fell onto the road and were run over by the tanker’s rear wheels. Their brother, who was driving the motorcycle, survived unharmed. 

Authorities have taken the driver into custody and moved the vehicle to a police station. The victims’ bodies were transported to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital.

In another aacident near Benazir Chowk Ibrahim Hyderi, a 10-year-old boy, Abdul Musawir, lost his life in a traffic accident.

A third incident occurred along the SITE Super Highway near Muhammadi Goth, where a 25-year-old man, Abdul Hameed, was killed after his motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle.

Rescue officials confirmed that all incidents are under investigation.
