FM Apprises Donor Agencies, Diplomats Sindh Financial Needs For Relief, Rehabilitation After Floods

Sukkur: Apprising the donor agencies regarding damages owing to catastrophe of floods in Sindh, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that more than worth of Rs 335 million crops destroyed in the floods while road-network ruined adding that the government has to restore agriculture, roads and employment.

Addressing donor agencies and diplomats in a meeting with them in Karachi, Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari informed them more than 784 percent rains against usual lashed in Sindh.

Bilawal Bhutto informed the donor agencies diplomats of various countries that as many as whopping Rs 860 million needed for constructions of roads in the province.

The foreign Minister said that provincial government has to restore agriculture, roads-network, employment for people and economy.

He said that we needed the most agriculture machinery for restoring the agricultural lands.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah apprised the representatives of donor agencies and diplomats of different countries that the province needed one million tents, three million nets of avoiding mosquitoes bite, two million ration begs and one million Kitchen sets.
