Islamabad: Provincial Minister for Information Saeed Ghani has claimed that the federal government has started blackmailing the Election Commission Of Pakistan (ECP) over the Electronic Voting Machines (EVM).
Addressing a presser in Islamabad the provincial minister said that the law which is not acceptable to anyone can’t be implemented. Saeed Ghani said that it is said in the federal cabinet meeting yesterday that no funds will be issued to the ECP if it doesn’t approve the EVMs for next general election.
All the political parties are standing with the ECP, Saeed said. Declaring the opposition parties of Sindh assembly incompetent at their best, he said we had said to the opposition parties to give their suggestion after presenting of the local body bill but they walked out from the assembly when the bill presented in the assembly.
He said that if opposition brings any suggestion still now then we are ready to sit with them.
Responding to Prime Minister Imran Khan allegation that the Sindh government is responsible for the inflation, he asked the premier to give three sugar mills names which crushing of the sugarcane has been stopped by the Sindh government.
The provincial minister thanked the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over making the rally of the PPP foundation day successful.
