Islamabad: Federal Cabinet meeting on Tuesday (today) decided to close all the markets across the country at 8:30 pm while wedding halls around the country to be shut down at 10 pm.
Federal Ministers Holding a presser after the cabinet meeting, Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif said that other resources will be used to overcome the energy crisis adding that additional duty will be applicable to the non-imperative electricity equipment’s.
He said that this decision will save up Rs 62 billion.
Khawaja Asif apprised that today’s session of the federal cabinet was held under the sunshine while he said that the National Energy Saving Program will be applicable immediately.
