Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disposed of reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) dissidents members of National Assembly (NA).
The ECP said in its verdict that no solid or authentic evidence presented before the ECP. Owing to which, the reference has been disposed of.
Three-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sultan Raja heard the PTI’s dissidents MNA’s case. While after hearing all the arguments of both the side the ECP reserved the judgment first and announced after a few hours. .
Former speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaiser had sent the reference against 20 dissidents of PTI in the NA.
PTI’s dissident MNA Noor Alam Khan counsel Gohar Khan gave argument in the case.
