Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced schedule of delimitations of National Assemblies and provincial assemblies for holding next general elections.
The delimitations committees for all the provinces will be formed till April 16. As per the ECP, no administrative unit will not be established from today across the country.
The ECP has directed all chief secretaries and provincial election commissioners to provide required maps and other documents for the work of delimitations From April 11 to April 26 the required maps and other documents will be provided

From April 20 to April 24 training will be given to delimitations committees.
As per the ECP, initial delimitations will be published on May 28 this year while from May 29 to June 28 people will present their objections and recommendations over the initial delimitations to the ECP.
The ECP will hold hearing and give verdict on all the objections from July 1 to July 30.
The final list of delimitations will publish on August 3 this year.
