ISLAMABAD: Easypaisa has proposed a range of digital payment solutions aimed at making passport-related payments more convenient for applicants across Pakistan.
A delegation from Easypaisa, including a senior company director, met Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa to discuss the introduction of digital payment facilities for people seeking passport services.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports on its proposed payment solutions, along with promotional incentives and other value-added services that could be offered to passport applicants.
Easypaisa also offered to assist in installing digital payment devices and related facilities at regional passport offices nationwide.
The proposed initiative is intended to streamline the payment process, reduce inconvenience for applicants and support the digitisation of passport services.
Randhawa welcomed the solutions presented by the Easypaisa team and said the proposals could be examined for possible implementation to facilitate citizens.
He emphasised the need to adopt modern digital tools to improve the efficiency of government services and make public-facing processes more accessible and convenient for citizens.
